Challenge Accepted

A few years ago, I set myself a challenge–to read all of the books in George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series by the time school started in August. In that case, I didn’t make it. I didn’t actually finish all of the books until sometime in late October.

This summer, I’m setting myself another challenge…to read all of the Phillipa Gregory books as well as supplemental books about the medieval/Tudor time period. And to do it all by my birthday in mid-September. Thanks to The Literate Housewife blog, which is where I found this list, which I believe is in chronological order. I’ll still have books to read for my monthly book club–this month we’re reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, which I’m actually liking more than I thought I would.
